This course is for high-tech textile engineering.
Learning about the evaluation methods, principles during the research and development process
Distinguish concepts of biology and medcine

Biomedical Textile Materials

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.

Biomedical materials is about the molding and general principles of biomedical fibers, biomedical membranes, biomedical adhesives and biomedical composite materials. And it wil introduct application of the functional materials in medical.

Tissue Engineering

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.
It will introduct the backgrounds of the development of tissue engineering, general concepts, preparation of scaffolds and culture in vivo. 

Fibers

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.
It will introduct the classification, structure, property and measurement of fiber materials. 

Textile Structure Molding（I）

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.
It will introduct the spinning principles and technologies, quality and  influence factors of natural fibers and chemical fibers.

Designing and Preparation of Biomedical Textiles

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.
This course mainly introduces the general methods and techniques for the design and preparation of biomedical textiles. We focus on the functional designing, selection of raw materials, preparation method and quality control technology. And it weill also introduct the production environment, production of qualifications, standards, registration and other technical requirements and specifications, which will make students have a comprehensive knowledge of biomedical textiles.

Biological Characteristics of Biomedical Textiles

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.
Through the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding for biological evalutation of biomedical textile materials (3B: Biocompatibility, Biological function and Biological durability). 

Practice of Biomedical Textiles

This course is for functional biomedical textile engineering.
It will introduct the formation and characterization of biomedical textiles. Students will study the designing, molding and characterization of artificial pipelines, sutures, wound dressing and surgical suits.
